THE STROKES

Alongside The Strokes’s team and Julian Casablancas, I created the John Carpenter-inspired backdrop and drumhead for the band’s Halloween Saturday Night Live performance and live debut of the song “Bad Decisions” from their Grammy Award winning album “The New Abnormal.”

THE VOIDZ

I started working with The Voidz in 2017, creating artwork and LP, tape, and CD packaging for their sophomore album “Virtue” and the single and 7” release “Qyurryus.” In 2019 I worked on the joint release with Terrible Records for the Kirin J. Callinan and Mac DeMarco produced songs “Did My Best” and “The Eternal Tao” and the corresponding 7” release, and in 2020 Cult Records hired me to be their full time Design Director.

CULT RECORDS

For the past year I have been the Design Director at Cult Records. The biggest undertaking of the past year has been designing and supervising the development of our new website and Cult Radio.

BETSEY JOHNSON

I worked as an art director for Betsey Johnson for almost 3 years. During that time I worked on shoots weekly to fulfill various marketing objectives. My role changed many times during my tenure at Betsey; I started out as a freelance designer, then I was brought on full time as a Social Media Manager, and then I was promoted to Senior Designer. Here I have included some of the projects that I was most involved in, highlights including set design and art direction for our Fall 2018 Campaign with Princess Nokia and the cottagecore goodness of the Summer 2019 Campaign I creative directed.

Abandon Normal Instruments

Abandon Normal Instruments is a new music startup founded by industry professionals building a new system for the music industry that addresses the diverse needs of the music community—a sort of WeWork for recording studios and similar industry needs. I worked with the A.N.I. team on their initial branding.

The final logo and accompanying system aesthetically represents their vision. The logo is a psuedo-soundwave-pseudo-typographic line that reads well at super small sizes.
