SHOW ME YOUR SPACE JUNK.
SHOW ME YOUR SPACE JUNK is a digital exploration and consequence of the global satellite infrastructures that revolutionized military, surveillance technology, and remote sexual intimacy. The same machinery that resulted in novel warfare techniques using the newly accessible super-vertical axis of power also resulted in a confessionally panoptic and digitally connected world that we feel comfortable sharing our nudes with.
These digital prints were designed and then photographed an iPhone camera, becoming both a product and critique of global satellite systems. Confessional, interstellar, and inspired by the aesthetic of 20th Century Sci-Fi book covers like those of Olaf Stapledon, SHOW ME YOUR SPACE JUNK is a collection of para-fictional love letters made to reckon with the Satellites in the sky that transformed security, the military, and phone sex forever.
