Abandon Normal Instruments is a new music startup building a new system for the music industry that addresses the diverse needs of the music community—including smaller musicians without big dollar support from labels. Through several weeks I worked with the A.N.I. team on their initial branding.

The final logo and accompanying system aesthetically represents their vision. The logo is a psuedo-soundwave-pseudo-typographic line that reads well at super small sizes. A.N.I. is also lead by some lovely humans with great ideas—check out what they’re up to here!
