Betsey Johnson
I started out as a freelance designer for Betsey Johnson in 2017. I worked there for almost three years, during which I art directed styled stills, campaigns, ran social channels, ran events, produced shoots, wrote contracts, redesigned the website, designed email campaigns and all other sorts of madness—a madness that suits the one and only Betsey. I was happy to continue doing a couple projects after I left for the team and I still hold this brand very close to my heart.
In no particular order, here are some of my favorite projects for the brand! These are all projects that I played a special role in. Props to the rest of the team for all of their hard work as well! Including but not limited to James DeMolet, Michelle Arrowood, Tanya Gorgolya, Cara Lynn, Matthew Hawkes, and Mariya Ibragimova.

I brought in Berlin based photographer Miriam Marlene to shoot this campaign on film. She totally captured the hazy, lazy Betsey summer of my dreams. Sunday Service meets the Secret Garden—with the best-of-the-best accessories, of course.

This was one of the first bigger campaigns I helped with in a major way at Betsey. Runaway bride in the Upper East Side. I did concept presentations for this shoot and managed the retouching process. Shot by Matt, styled by Kirsten Laverty!

OPTICAL CAMPAIGN 2017
As a passionate eyewear-wearer, these accessories will always be special to me. I incorporated Betsey jewelry, lashes, and rhinestones into this shoot to bring the frames to life. I designed an “Eye Test Chart for Punk Girls” for the back of the booklet, which was printed onto it in fluorescent pink. This project always makes me smile!
